Whether now or in the future DIVERSIFICATION is your safest strategy. During the most uncertain time during the 2020 COVID-19 worries, some stocks dropped 40% while real estate remained stable. During the 2008 housing bubble homes dropped 60% in value or more while many stocks lost 50% or more in price yet gold almost tripled in price from 2008–2011.

Unless you have a crystal ball, I sleep soundly at night because I have a widely diversified portfolio.
