I would suggest that you “shadow” a successful agent in your area because it’s very different work that it appears. Agents work a whole lot harder and make much less money than most people think.
It’s a great career choice for those who are outgoing (you have to find your own clients), love a challenge (every transaction has problems) and are tenacious (you can never give-up even when things appear hopeless). Most people think it’s an easy way to make money which is why 85% of new agents quit in the first three years.
