There is a law in the United States called the “Statute of Frauds” which requires certain types of contracts to be executed in writing, including the sale of land. If someone made an offer on your property there should be a written record of it and you are entitled to a copy.
Ask you agent one more time for a copy of the contact from the buyer and let him or her know that if you don’t receive it within 24 hours you will contact their broker and the state department of real estate. While these instances are rare, this lack of professionalism gives all real estate professionals a bad name.
